10 Day Challenge : 10 Secrets

I was catching up on some of my blog reading and came across this post from Confessions of a Secret Shopper. I decided I would do the challenge myself and think you should too!

In no particular order here are my 10 secrets ( I don't think I have 10 secrets, but we will see)

Shhhh Don't Tell....

1) I have panic attacks. Not little ones either. I have huge full blown shaking panic attacks. I hate talking about this, but think sometimes I should. This brings me to number two.

2) I hold too much in. I keep way to many things bottled up and don't let it out when I should.

3) I have a temper...not a horrible one, but enough of one that you shouldn't push me over my limit lol.

4) Several years ago (over 12) I was making a frozen pizza for my ex. I dropped it on the ground where my dog had just tracked dirt (totally accidental I promise!) then rinsed it (yes, it's stupid I know) and fed it to him anyway. I sure don't feel bad about that now hahaha.

5) I wish I was as skinny as I used to be. Sometimes I act like I'm perfectly happy with the body I have now, but inside I just want to be tiny again. Uuuh, I hate admitting that.

6) I once over processed my hair while trying to do my roots and had a huge chunk of hair fall out. Oooh, I think I still have a picture of this.. yep, here it is.

7) My husband sometimes jokes with me and calls me a "cougar" because I am older than him. He thinks it's funny. Sometimes I want to slap him (see number 3). HAHA kidding!

8) If I don't feel like being bothered I completely ignore the door bell and knocks not matter who it is! I will just pretend I don't hear it. If the kids are home I tell them to be quiet and ignore it too. Is that horrible? And if you are one of my friends who I didn't answer the door for I'm sorry! Didn't mean for you to find out like this! Then again I might have been out, so no worries!

9) Number eight reminded me of this. I hate when someone will call me back to back and then show up at my house! I can't stand that! If I don't get to the phone it means I am in the middle of something. I will get back to you when I get a chance, so please don't stalk me! So many people do this and I keep it to myself because I don't want to be rude. Guess the secret is out now.

10) I hate germs! I wash my hands constantly and if I can't get to the sink I have my trusty hand sanitizer.

Giveaways and Sales

I have been working hard on my upcoming giveaway and sales plans! Most of my followers know I owned a small store and recently closed it to pursue other goals. My initial plan was to open another store, but I think I might go in another direction. That is still up in the air.

Since I still have more than enough inventory and currently not enough room to store it I plan to do several fun giveaways and put some items up for sale! These items will include: jeans, tops, shorts, shoes, accessories, handbags, formals, wedding gowns and more!

Our first giveaway will be posted in a few days and will be our trial run for future bigger giveaways! This giveaway is for my reader and follower appreciation. I want all of you to know how much I appreciate you!

The first giveaway will be a beauty giveaway! This will include products from hair care to makeup. We plan to host one or more giveaways each month after this!

For Sale : Brand New David's Bridal Wedding Gown sz 8

I am trying my best to get things cleaned up and organized! I have a wedding gown that came from my store and decided I would sell it online. It is a beautiful David's Bridal Wedding Gown. It is a strapless satin dress and comes with an emerald green sash. The dress retails for $399 and the sash for $70, but I am selling both for $250! Again this is NEW WITH TAGS!!! Here is a picture of the dress! The sash is the same as pictured only a beautiful emerald green color!

Fashion Faux Pas: A Few on My List

While running errands today I noticed a few fashion don'ts that I wanted to share! I don't normally write about the don'ts, but I think I might just start. Here they are in no particular order.

1) Too tight/not properly fitting pants with visible panty lines.
 I'm not talking about the panty lines on the side either. I think it is GROSS when people wear pants that are so extremely tight that the seam from the cotton lining in the crotch shows through the back of the pants.

2) Wearing a Mini dress/skirt and not knowing how to sit like a lady!
 I was at the dentist office with my kids this morning and could not believe this lady. This is a children's dentistry, so please explain why she is wearing this uber short floral mini dress? She plopped down on one of the seats and proceeded to pull her legs up in the chair and sit in a half Indian style position. Um lady, everyone can see your crotch. Gross.

3) Children not dressing appropriately/dressing provocatively.
Again today at the dentist a girl (probably 13 or so) came flaunting herself out the office door with skin tight jeans and a super low cut shirt. Her tatas were completely hanging out of her shirt. Her attitude was not much better. I don't understand why her parent/parents let her out of the house like that. She was proud in her choice of attire and that was obvious because she was trying to exude some kind of flirty persona, walking with the intention of keeping her chest pushed out as far as she could. I only noticed because that was not the walk of your average little girl or pre-teen. This wasn't funny at all, and it actually made me sad. I just wish this child had someone to guide her in a better direction.

This is just a few on my list of Fashion Faux Pas. I have quite a few opinions, but please keep in mind they are my opinions! Not everyone may agree with my views on this or any subject I post about. I hope everyone had a wonderful and productive Monday.

What a crazy and busy week! We had doctor's appointments, a million errands, and Bailey's birthday last week! This week is filled already too! Here are a few quick photos from last week.

Today's Makeup Look and Giveaway Notice!

Happy Friday! What a long week it has been! Today is my oldest son's birthday and we have a few things planned this evening for him. I still can't believe my baby is twelve! It makes me feel old!

For today's makeup look I wanted to keep it simple. I have been playing with neutral tones lately and decided to do another neutral smokey eye. For this look I used my Ulta Good Girl quad, Avon's 24k gold quad, and cover girl's duo liner in Cafe.

For this look I used my Cover Girl duo liner to get the depth in my crease. I dabbed the brown shade in the crease and followed by the black. I used a stiff brush to blend the black into the outer corner letting the edges stay darker.

I used the Avon 24k gold quad for the white shade on my lid and as a highlighter.

my Ulta Good girl quad was used for the upper lid and to darken the crease.

Then I finished by adding the Cover Girl liner and a few coats of Super Shock mascara.

1) Avon white shade

2) Cover Girl black liner

3) Ulta dark browns from Good Girl quad

4) Avon light shade for highlighter on brow bone.

This was a really easy look and didn't take long to achieve. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Happy Birthday Bailey :My little one turns 12

I can't believe it was 12 years ago today that I held my beautiful baby boy in my arms for the first time. I had never seen something so precious and tiny in my life! The years have flown by so fast and I cannot believe how fast he has grown. The tiny baby I held in my arms is now big enough to hold me. He has changed so much and has grown into such a handsome young man! Every day I am amazed by him and how he has turned out! He makes me so proud and I am so happy he is mine!

Bailey, I love you with all my heart and no matter what you will always be my sweet little boy. I am so proud of you son! I love you to the moon and back forever and always!

Wow! I have been so busy the last few weeks, but things should finally start getting back on track. I am now happily married and am thrilled to say our wedding day was perfect! Today is the Day : Getting Married Tonight!

Well, today is our big day. I can't believe it is finally here. I've been so busy the last month getting everything ready. Last night I was trying to finish a few small details and when I pinned one of the lapel pins on my son's shirt it hit me...I'm getting married.

I am sitting here trying to relax before I start getting ready. My nerves are shot! We are having a really small ceremony with very close friends and family with a small reception to follow. I can't believe today is the day.

Things should return to normal next week. I am ready for all this stress to be behind me and to be married to the love of my life. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Check back soon for my regular posts!
