Fall Shopping List
There are quite a few things I'm eyeing for fall, but I thought I would narrow it down to just five. First on the list is a handbag! I love buying handbags, so I plan to get a new fall bag in a great dark color. I really like purple and wine colors right now and think that will be perfect for my new fall bag. I was also browsing online at Belk and came across this amazing Michael Kors watch! It is on my must have list! During my last shopping trip I picked up some awesome brown boots, but think its time for some black ones too! I think black riding boots might do the trick. Another cute trendy find is this great denim sleeveless vest. These are fun to add to dresses to make a more casual look. I love the look of these denim vests when paired with a cute print and some great accessories! And last on my list is these great boot socks! Hoe cute are these? I love the way they look peeking out of the top of your boots! I was also thinking of making some DIY boot socks, so stay tuned for that possible DIY post!

How to Clean Your Purse Like A Pro for Less
From Coach and Michael Kors to Nine West and Guess we all have accidents with our handbags. Somehow ink stains or everyday use will cause us to loose our cool when we think we have ruined our bags. Today I'm going to tell you how to clean your bag like a pro for a tiny fraction of the cost!
Materials :
Shoe Cleaner and a cloth! Yep, that's it! I like the shoe cleaner that has the bristles on the cap. These can be picked up at most shoe stores and Target. This is a much more affordable option than expensive handbag cleaners and professional cleaning! This will do the exact same thing and for a fraction of what you would spend elsewhere! Trust me, I've been there and done that! This also has a built in protector so it will help prevent new stains from setting in! Great, huh?
Step One:
Grab your bag and turn it inside out. Make sure the inside lining is now on the outside. This will make it much easier to clean. Make sure you have your cleaner and your washcloth. I use the washcloth to wipe away the excess after scrubbing! This is a handbag I am cleaning for a friend and it definitely needed some work!
Step Two:
Once your bag is ready start spraying the cleaner on the fabric. Most will foam up like this one.
The bottom of the liner looks pretty rough!
Step Three:
After you have scrubbed (didn't take pictures of that part unfortunately, but you know how to scrub!) wipe the remainder off and leave inside out to dry. The bag shouldn't take more than a few hours to dry out, and you should end up with a handbag that is good as new!

If you have tougher spots or ink stains you will want to let the foam sit for a few minutes. Then start scrubbing with the bristle top that is included with the cleaner. If you don't have one with this type of lid a regular scrub brush or toothbrush will work too!

I didn't actually intend to post these pictures or write about cleaning a handbag, but after showing my friend decided it might be a good idea. If I would have thought about this sooner I would have taken more detailed pictures of an actual tutorial for you! No worries, I have several more handbags that need to be renewed! If you have any questions feel free to email me or comment below!
Have a fabulous day and let me know how well yours turns out!

Currently Craving : Purse Edition
A girl (woman) can never have too many purses in my opinion! I have loved purses since I was little. This I get from my grandmother! We shopped so much when I was young and all through my teen years! It seems like every time we went out we both ended up with a new handbag (this was usually the same with shoes too)! Throughout the years I have lost weight, gained weight, and so on, but a purse will ALWAYS fit! Here are a few on my list!

Fringe Purse DIY : This is Easy!
I can't sew! I know I have said this a million times, but it's totally true! I found these scraps of leather (totally free) and decided I would keep them for a random craft project. I didn't really think I would be attempting to make a purse, much less one with fringe detail. It was actually easier than I thought. Here is my quick how to! The project took under two hours, but if you can actually sew and have a sewing machine I think it will go much faster!
1) Get your fabric/leather scissors, zipper, needle, thread, etc!
2) Flip fabric inside out and sew together bottom and sides. Keep the top open! Once you have done this turn the purse right side out.
3) Once you have flipped the bag now attach your zipper. I didn't get a chance to photograph this step!
4) I measured three separate pieces of fabric to cut the fringe. Each section was the same length. You can decide what size you want your bag to be and go from there. Mine is 8in. Cut strips in your fabric/leather to make the fringe look.
5) This is how each of your three fringe pieces will look. I then attached them to the purse in rows about 2.5 inches apart starting at the top of the bag. You can see where they are attached in the photos below.
6) I grabbed some silver hardware and cut two smaller leather flaps. These will be used to attach the strap. Place the circle into the flap, fold over, and sew. You will then attach them to your purse.
7) Follow the step in number six to attach your strap.
8) Just for fun I added a fringe detail to the edge of the zipper while I was attaching the straps and hardware.
9) That's it! You're done! Now you have a super cute fringe purse ready to go! I think I can totally rock this bag! What do you think? Did I do ok for my first attempt at leather and purse making?
