I made it through week one without too many issues! I think I did pretty well considering I was trying to get used to this new meal planning! I stuck to the plan and calculated everything i ate. i can honestly say, that keeping track of everything you eat and drink makes a difference.
Before I started this I didn't really pay much attention to calories, sugars, carbs, etc. I was aware that many of the foods I ate weren't that great, but until this I didn't realize exactly how bad they were. Keep in mind that Weight Watchers doesn't restrict your eating to a point where you can't have things you want. You actually can! The goal with this plan is that you calculate your points and stay within those. It makes it so easy to eat healthier and make better choices in regards to food and portions!
I plan to start adding workouts or walks in the next week. I had initially intended on starting this week, but we are actually preparing for a hurricane that is supposed to arrive at the coast Friday or Saturday. Charleston is a mad house right now. Currently all interstate lanes have been turned around and are all heading out of Charleston for evacuation. That is another story!
I am happy to announce that I did lose 4 pounds my first week and hope that the weight loss will continue. I know most people say that an average of 2 pounds per week is normal. I would be happier with 4, but I will take what I can get!
Hope you all have a great week!!
