I am trying my best to get things cleaned up and organized! I have a wedding gown that came from my store and decided I would sell it online. It is a beautiful David's Bridal Wedding Gown. It is a strapless satin dress and comes with an emerald green sash. The dress retails for $399 and the sash for $70, but I am selling both for $250! Again this is NEW WITH TAGS!!! Here is a picture of the dress! The sash is the same as pictured only a beautiful emerald green color!
If you are interested I can send you an invoice through paypal along with a receipt of payment. Or if you are in the Charleston area I will be happy to schedule a time for you to meet with me! Email me with any questions or leave your questions along with email in the comments. Happy Tuesday!

Today is the Day : Getting Married Tonight!
Well, today is our big day. I can't believe it is finally here. I've been so busy the last month getting everything ready. Last night I was trying to finish a few small details and when I pinned one of the lapel pins on my son's shirt it hit me...I'm getting married.
I am sitting here trying to relax before I start getting ready. My nerves are shot! We are having a really small ceremony with very close friends and family with a small reception to follow. I can't believe today is the day.
Things should return to normal next week. I am ready for all this stress to be behind me and to be married to the love of my life. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Check back soon for my regular posts!

This Week in Photos & Mini Update
I have been so busy the last two weeks. I feel like I haven't had time to do much of anything relaxing! I'm glad I drafted several posts ahead of time and scheduled them to be published or nothing would ever get posted! I decided that since I had a few extra minutes and was researching a few things online I would give a mini update and share a few pictures! Here are the pictures and the details are below!
1) Maxwell trying to play solitare on the computer. 2) My New Balance Walking shoes...super cozy and you can feel the burn when you walk! 3) Old oak by the park 4) Ty and I 5) Evan climbing at the park. 6) Ty and Bailey on one of the park toys. 7) Evan up close 8) Bailey and Ty both on slides 9) I wrote my wedding vows whoo hoo! 10) Hair clip I made with lace, feathers, a flower, and rhinestones 11)My boquet hot pink, light pink, white with black and white feathers and rhinestones. 12) Our wedding bands! 13) Yes, I would love some hot chocolate even though it is 85 outside 14) A feather pin I am thinking of using for an accessorie at the wedding.
I am happy I got to take the kids for a walk to the park this week. We all had a lot of fun and the weather was great! I am still working like crazy on all the last minute wedding details, accessories, and decor. I wish the pictures turned out better because I really love my boquet! The hair clip detail remind me of the forties style which I love. I'm also thrilled we have most everything else squared away. I am still stressed about these last minute details and still have a few things to finalize, but it will all fall into place!
I hope everyone had a wonderful week and have a great and relaxing weekend! I look for things to calm down after the wedding and will do my best to get back to my regular posts soon! I will also try my best to get to your comments and emails as soon as I can!

Planning My Wedding : So much to do!
Wow! I haven't really had much time to post lately! I am still super busy planning our wedding! We are two weeks away and I have so much to do! We are doing everything on our own, so it's been quite a bit of work!
You guys know how I love to do projects, but taking this on (even though it's going to be a small event) has been a handful! We are having a really small ceremony with close friends and family at a lake by our house. I have been getting all the last minute details planned out!
Since I love DIY projects I made my bouquet, my hair clip, my garter, my necklace and earrings, the grooms flower lapel pin, the boys flower lapel pins, center pieces, decor, oh and the ring pillow! Did I mention I'm not even finished!
I haven't had time to take pictures of all the pieces yet, and I thought I might wait until after the ceremony to post those. Here is a peek at some of the colors and inspirations...

I just wanted to give you guys an update and explain why I haven't been able to post as much as usual! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far! I did get to relax by the pool for a couple of hours this afternoon to regroup! Thank goodness for that! I will give you guys an update soon, and maybe a few pictures!

The Inspiration : A bit of 40's flair
I think we set a date for our "wedding" finally. I have been going back and forth trying to decide. I say "wedding" because we decided not to have a big ordeal. We are just going to have our family and a few friends join us as we say our vows.
We decided that we wanted to have the small ceremony outside, and it will more than likely be by a lake (he proposed at the lake). Since we really didn't want to make a fuss out of anything I decided that I wasn't going to get a long and formal wedding gown, but that I would stick to something more fun!
I love the romantic style of the 1940's! I always have. I have the most beautiful picture of my grandmother from 1946. It is one of my favorite pictures! All of her pictures amaze me! She was a teenager in the 40's and also married my grandfather in the 40's! I could listen to her stories all day long, and have loved hearing them for the past twenty-nine years!
In addition to the veil I am also going to custom make my bouquet (I even thought about making the cake too). Hope you like my inspirational photos! I will keep you updated on the plans for our special day!

(Of course it looks blurred here)
Without going on and on about family history ( though I could) here are a few inspirational pictures I picked out for our special day. My favorite color (of course) is pink, so that will be my pop of color! I also love the look of the birdcase veil. It has a 40's feel and isn't too formal! I plan on making my own veil, and will show a tutorial soon!
In addition to the veil I am also going to custom make my bouquet (I even thought about making the cake too). Hope you like my inspirational photos! I will keep you updated on the plans for our special day!
