Fall Makeup Look and New Series!

With my crazy schedule I haven't taken the time to post any makeup looks. It has definitely been a long time. I pulled out the camera yesterday and thought I would snap a few pictures while I got ready. Halfway through my camera died, so I switched to my phone.

After rushing through this look I started thinking that it would be fun to do a series on several wearable fall looks! I plan to include daytime and evening looks for the Fall Makeup Series! Here are the step by step photos with details below!

There is no set way I apply my makeup. Some days I will apply foundation first and some days I apply it last. It usually depends. Today I waited because some of the shadows cause a good bit of fallout and I don't like all the touchups. So here is what I did today:

1) I grabbed my Urban Decay eye primer  and 2) applied it to my lids.3) Then I grabbed my Urban Decay book of Shadows and patted "Sin" on my lids. 5) Using the UD Electric Palette I opted for the orange shade called "Burnout" and put it along the crease and outer corner. Then added some lighter shimmery orange with "Freelove". 8) Freelove application. 9) I decided to darken the orange with the two purple shades "Flash" and "Tornado". 10) I kept these more on the outer area and crease. 11) I used my Vice Palette and put 12) "Toxic" all over the lid and crease to add shimmer. Then I used "Rewind" 14) to deepen and 15)started to blend. 16) More deepening with "Derailed" 17) more blending 18) Time to clean up the fallout 19) I used my Avon Glimmerstick liner and then (not shown) went over the liner with "Blackout". 20) Foundation time. 21) I buffed the two together 22) Then grabbed my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer and 23) put it under my eyes. 24) Time to add shadow to the bottom. These were Derailed and Rewind shadows. 25)lashes curled 26) pulled out the UD Perversion (They sent me a trial before it launched and I loved it so much I have a full size that I haven't opened)27) Upper lashes 28) Lower lashes 29) Avon Glimmersticks brow pencil in Blonde. 30) filling in before I grab my favorite 31) Too Faced Brow Envy then 32) Filling in and 33) using the spooly. 34) This picture looks crazy the way the flash showed up, but this is Too Faced Chocolate Solei bronzer 35) applying and then 36) blush from elf. 37) on the apples . I did highlight but that isn't pictured either lol. 38)Time for setting powder. This is a mix of two powders. 39) Elf matte nude lip with 40)Smashbox gloss on top.

Love and hugs!

Fall Shopping List

There are quite a few things I'm eyeing for fall, but I thought I would narrow it down to just five. First on the list is a handbag! I love buying handbags, so I plan to get a new fall bag in a great dark color. I really like purple and wine colors right now and think that will be perfect for my new fall bag. I was also browsing online at Belk and came across this amazing Michael Kors watch! It is on my must have list! During my last shopping trip I picked up some awesome brown boots, but think its time for some black ones too! I think black riding boots might do the trick. Another cute trendy find is this great denim sleeveless vest. These are fun to add to dresses to make a more casual look. I love the look of these denim vests when paired with a cute print and some great accessories! And last on my list is these great boot socks! Hoe cute are these? I love the way they look peeking out of the top of your boots! I was also thinking of making some DIY boot socks, so stay tuned for that possible DIY post!

15 under $50 : Tops for Fall

With no time for myself I seem to gravitate toward late night shopping and browsing on the Internet! Working at home and home schooling my youngest son during the day doesn't leave much time for anything else. By late afternoon I have to prepare myself to stand over my oldest and make sure his homework is done and that he doesn't irritate and torture (not literally) his little brother. My boys are a full time job themselves! After dinner ( home cooked and takeout) I'm so sleepy that I barely have time to spend with my husband before I am ready to get cozy in my bed and wrap myself in my blankets. When my head hits the pillow you might as well stick a fork in me because I'm done!

While browsing for some cute fall tops I came across several I loved. Here are 15 I picked to share with you and they are all under $50. How great is it to look amazing and not break the bank! Here are my 15 for $50! Check below for prices and where to find these looks. What styles will you be wearing this fall?
